A long open-air coffeehouse painted almost entirely in red: on the left an old man in a red fez and white shirt sits on a stool; behind him a crowd on stools, with red-brown shadows on a white ground. The introduction to Bozkırdaki Atlar cites the painter's “red coffeehouses” as an example of his daring in spreading a single colour across the whole surface (Başbuğ 2016).
